SkillsFuture Credit is course funding from the government available to Singaporeans 25 years old and above. SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy has been in effect since October 1, 2015. Singaporean Citizens aged 40 and above enjoy enhanced subsidies of up to 90% of course fees for WDA-supported certifiable courses.
Singapore Citizens 25 years old and above in 2016, who are in the workforce, as well as those who have completed their full-time education and are ready to embark on their careers.
Do Permanent Residents receive SkillsFuture Credit? No, SkillsFuture Credit is only for Singapore Citizens
SkillsFuture Credit can be used for a wide range of approved skills-related courses related to education and training. You can choose from about 10,000 approved skills-related courses across 57 functional areas. Your SkillsFuture Credit can be applied to SME Centre's courses that are eligible for SkillsFuture credit.

How do I avail of SkillsFuture Credit?
You may choose to pay first and the government will subsequently reimburse you with your SkillsFuture Credit, or you may choose to disburse your credit to the training provider directly. The credit can be used on top of existing course fee subsidies provided by the Government. SkillsFuture Credit is administered by SSG (SkillsFuture Singapore).
How much am I entitled to?
Singaporeans 25 years old and above will receive an initial credit of $500. The government will make further top-ups to individuals’ SkillsFuture Credit at periodic intervals, so you may accumulate your credit. Your credit will not expire.
Singaporeans 40 years old and above will receive additional funding.
Does SkillsFuture Credit cover course materials as well?
SkillsFuture can only be used to offset course fees and not course registration fees or course materials.
How can I utilize and I check my SkillsFuture Credit account balance?
SSG has created an account for all eligible Singaporeans. You can access and activate your SkillsFuture Credit account, as well as check your account balance via www.skillsfuture.sg/credit. You can use your SkillsFuture Credit immediately.
Can I use my SkillsFuture Credit for company training?
Employees who are sponsored by their employers to go for training should not have to tap on their own SkillsFuture Credit to pay for course fees, as their course fees are already paid by their employers.
When can I start using my SkillsFuture Credit?
All eligible Singaporeans can start using their SkillsFuture credit now.
